Blak Dot Gallery is the leading gallery for contemporary First Nations art in Australia and is recognised as an incubator for First Nations art.

We thank our community for its’ support over the past decade and for helping Blak Dot to realise its’ vision as a respectful, culturally safe, sustainable, First Nations arts space.

Blak Dot’s values of sovereignty, reciprocity and respect couldn’t be more relevant than now as Australia’s relationship with its First Nations peoples evolves at pace.

Our work as a not-for-profit, grassroots organisation supporting First Nations artists continues as we await transition into a new community precinct in Brunswick in 2024. While we have secured a new building, bricks and mortar are only one element of building a gallery.  Any donation you make to Blak Dot will help fill that space with vibrant and diverse contemporary art, and support the artists who add such beauty, curiosity and wonder to our world.
